Greetings and welcome to my blog!

Published by gruffalo84 at 2:42 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Welcome to my blog at Today.com. This blog will feature my personal accounts, thoughts, ideas, stories, gripes, fears, and joys surrounding my career in book publishing. Consider yourself invited to the conversation as it happens. I’d love to field questions and chat about topics YOU want to know about. Thanks for reading and I hope you’ll be back soon! Leave me a comment while you’re here.

This blog is a work in progress–aren’t they all? I hope to make it snazzier as the days go by. Keep checking in and making suggestions!

Right now I’m working on several projects, including this blog. Here’s where to find my other work:
http://www.ehow.com — I write how-to articles on a variety of topics ranging from playing card games to singing a cappella to planning networking events.

http://guilfordct.ourtown.com
— I manage a website with local information about the town I live in, Guilford, CT.

More info TK. (TK = to come. You just learned your first publishing acronym.)

Keep reading and writing,

Jess

As a freelance writer wanting to become a best-selling author (don’t we all?) I’m looking forward to learning from your blog. :) (although my best-selling book will be about a 30 year old single woman who finally finds the man of her dreams after dating many Mr. Wrongs.)

Hi Diana! Thanks for checking in and for your comment. I’d love to be a resource for you while you write. Keep me posted on how the book is going! I’m writing a love story of my own.

I look forward to check out your blog too!

    Best,
    Jess

I write. I find this blog nifty. You’ll see me a lot.

Question: Do you happen to know why the acronym is TK? Was it an infamous spelling error, or did it stand for something else, or…?

    Hi Ravvyn,

Thanks for your comment. Glad you like it so far!

I don’t know for sure why the acronym is TK, but I think if they had shortened it to TC, it would have been confused with table of contents (which is TOC). That’s my wild guess…

    Hi, Jess

I loved your blog and since I also love writing (have written a book but am finding it difficult to get it published) and have publishing background, I too would like to have advice from you on how I too can start a blog. Can I have your e-mail ID?

    Hey Joan,
Thanks for leaving a comment. Glad your group liked the book. Can’t wait to read it! Talk to you soon… btw, need any proofreading work? If Meredith hasn’t called you yet, you’ll probably be hearing from one of us soon!
