Book- and publishing-related blog link swap

Published by gruffalo84 at 2:21 pm under Blogging Edit This

So I’ve been happy to see on occasion that frequent readers who own their own blogs will sometimes include my blog in their blogroll, and I do end up getting traffic from those links. I think this is one of the best forms of advertising because bloggers can reciprocate each other and reward blogs that they truly appreciate. Sometimes links appear on blogs I am previously unfamiliar with, like ciberescritas.com–in a totally different language even! But when we help promote each other, we open up communication and thereby do what blogs are supposed to do: create a dialogue and share information. I’ve met some outstanding bloggers and book professionals via this blog and via Twitter–keep up the social networking because it is HUGE and essential and awesome.

So with that in mind I’d like to start a link swap. If you are interested in having your book- or publishing-related blog appear on my site’s blogroll, please comment here and I will add it. All I ask in return is that you add a link on your own blog to bookpublishing.today.com.

I already have you on my blogroll list, so I guess this is just a reminder that I do. Or something.

I just read your post about Borders. That’s too bad!!! This economy really sucks, eh?

Thanks Lesa and Hava. You’ve both been added!

Hava, regarding Borders: the dept meeting I had yesterday turned me around on this. I think replacing staff is a great thing for publishers because Borders needs new direction. They’ve stayed afloat this long, but “staying afloat” isn’t enough now. They can be a real force in the publishing world again if they get things back on track. Hoping for the best!
